SAFEGUARDING
OUR COMMITMENT
Youth Fitness Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child who trains with us. Every child, regardless of age, ability, background or identity, has the right to take part in a safe, inclusive environment.
HOW WE KEEP CHILDREN SAFE
- All coaches hold a current enhanced DBS check and are first-aid trained.
- Coaches complete safeguarding training, renewed every [3 years].
- Sessions are run in small groups in an open studio; parents are welcome to stay and watch.
- Children are signed in and out and only released to an authorised adult.
- We keep medical and emergency contact information for every child.
- Coaches don't contact children directly on personal phones or social media; all contact is with parents.
